Madden 24 is one of the most popular football video games on the market, and it's not hard to see why. The first and most basic thing you need to know is the sprint button. It's the right Trigger or the R2 button depending on your system, and it's going to have your player running at top speed. Next up is the Juke. You take your right joystick and you flick it to the left or to the right to Juke left or right, respectively. It's pretty simple and it's probably the best ball carrier move in the game.
If you hold down the sprint button while Jukeing, you'll get a more exaggerated Juke, which is great for making the defenders Miss. However, the regular Juke is just so much quicker. You can Juke in and then Juke right back out without really losing much momentum.
Watch this example here. We set up the defenders and then quickly flick the joystick to the inside. This is one of the easiest ways to make the defenders Miss, and it's much quicker than the exaggerated Juke.
Another great ball carrier move is the stiff arm. You can do this by holding down the sprint button and then using your left joystick to swipe in one direction or the other. This is great for forcing the defenders to miss their tackles and giving you more space to run.
Finally, you can also use the spin move. To do this, you need to press the sprint button, then flick the right joystick in the opposite direction of your spin move. This is a great move for breaking tackles and getting extra yardage.
