Others want your email or mobile number. Second: I am not sure but have the impression that some “ladies” are a pure invention to entertain the male community. The age typically doesn’t match their gorgeous picture plus very little information about themselves. I am guessing that that is because of the generally much higher number of lads vs girls… Thirdly: because the ladies are scarce, they very often don’t reply…and if so with many guys in parallel…and normally the chat ends sooner than later… To sum it up: if you’re bored in front of the telly, give it a go but you very likely won’t find a new girlfriend or even a female friend here…as with most of those apps I would guess… Date of experience : February 05, 2025. Fake,too many photo shop, waste of time. Fake,too many photo shop pics. Met up with someone drink was Spaß spiked. Have had too many fake responses as they want to contact u on telegram etc. Using the law as a backup surprisingly the profile is deleted. Thus, I am posting again, it's my genuine experience so Trustpilot should not delete it. I even did respond to their email confirming it was my experience, yet it was deleted, I wonder why. Seems to be scam. Seems to be scam. Signed up twice with 2 different emails and didn't get any confirmation message - neither in the inbox nor in the spam folder. I signed up to Finya and also a subscription website. Finya seems to have the best ratings out of all dating websites in Germany. I had no problem making a profile in English language ( some people have complained it is rejected ). Sure there are some fake profiles, I was contacted by one and reported it. It was removed within hours. People also complain they receive no replies from ladies they contact, this is just a fact of life with all dating websites, don't take it so personally and move on. The site is a bit confusing for me, but then it is in German but I get the basic functions of it. For some reason, I am unable to translate the site on my PC using Google Chrome but a work around is to copy and paste text from the site into a translator. The search function is really good and straight forward although personally I wish it had a filter for languages spoken" but that is my problem, not the fault of Finya. Yes, there are adverts on the site but it is FREE, what do you expect ? If they didn't have adverts then they would have to charge you. You can't have it both ways. I have met the most wonderful lady using Finya. Overall, Finya is the best dating website to use in Germany. You can set up a really detailed profile too. One thing that could be improved is that photos could be enlarged when clicking on them. Would I recommend Finya ? Yes, absolutely - it's free, it's functional and way better than the other sites out there, most of which are just after your money. Date of experience : February 19, 2024. They close accounts for non germans. They close accounts only because it does not belong to German person. very racists. They flagged this post, claiming its not true, and asked me for my account details 3 days ago, and still no answer from Finya even after I sent 4 complains to the support. The closure happened in a period of very low activity from me, meaning no report what soever could have been done to my account. I ACTUALLY TRIED MAKING NEW ACCOUNT, BUT AFTER I SENT FEW SHORT NORMAL GREETING MESSAGES, THE NEW ACCOUNT WAS DEACTIVATED ONLY BECAUSE MY MESSAGES WERE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE NOT GERMAN.
